We have this nice tradition at our university that each year in May students who will finish their MA studies take part in a celebration called “absolutorium”. The term should not be taken too serious – there are still some exams ahead and MA theses to complete, but as students actually finish at various dates from mid June till the end of September we take this opportunity to celebrate together. So, this year the first generation of ELLDo students threw their hats into the air, and their teachers proudly cheered them on 19 May 2018.
(PS There are also 2 ELLDo teachers on the above picture – can you identify them?)

Happy Grammar Day
I first thought it was a joke, but it seems that some people in the USA are celebrating a National Grammar Day today. Well, for me each day is grammar day – and that’s not about what is “correct” and what isn’t, but about the fun exploring the structures of languages.

Timetable for the new term (updated)
Sorry, the timetable posted last week was wrong. This here is the corrected version:
Yes, you can…
… still register for the program!
Check here for more information about the procedure.
Lithuanian, Chinese, or Khmer?
Which language do you want to learn?
As part of this MA programme you will learn a new language with classes two times a week over two years. In 2016/17 we offer a class in Lithuanian specially designed for ELLDo students (no knowledge of Polish needed) and the possibility to study Khmer or Chinese together with students from other programmes.
This can be your ELLDorado…
