Enrollment for the academic year 2024/2025 will open 1 June 2024.
New! This year we will conduct online interviews with candidates to select those who are most interested and suitable, while the grade on your prior diploma plays a lesser role. Also, we shortened the period of recruitment to give successful candidates more time for getting a visa, finding accomodation, etc.
Enrollment dates 2024:
Registration in the system: 1.6.-20.08.2024.
Please note that 20.08. is also the latest date to pay the registration fee and to upload all necessary documents.
Interviews (called “entrance exams”): 26.-30.08.2024
Only candidates who submitted all necessary documents and paid the registration fee are admitted to the interviews.
Results: 02.09.2024

Requirements
- BA, MA, or other diploma, preferably in Modern Languages or related programmes;
- very good knowledge of English (level B2/C1 according to the European Framework). MA theses may be written in English or Polish.
In case of more than 25 candidates, preference of admission will be given according to the grade of the diploma of former studies.

The decision about acceptance is based on the entrance exam (up to 15 points) and the grade of the former diploma (up to 5 points).

For all candidates, regardless of their nationality, enrolment starts with registering in the admission system. The English version can be found here: https://rekrutacja.amu.edu.pl/en/
Find ELLDo in the list of programs under Applied linguistics => Second cycle => Empirical Linguistics and Language Documentation (see picture below). If you use the Polish version of the system, go to Lingwistyka stosowana -> studia drugiego stopnia -> specjalność Empirical Linguistics and Language Documentation.
Click, read the description and then click to enrol. Just follow the instructions given by the system – once you are registered, it will ask you for your diploma and tell you which documents you need.
